To assist you in the preparation for the upcoming tax audit, KPMG cordially invites you to our KPMG Tax Audit Workshop.
5 April 2017, 2:00PM - 5:00PM, ICT
The National Assembly has recently issued Resolution 27/2016/QH14 approving the state budget for the year 2017, in which gross revenue is estimated to be VND 1,212,180 billion, a 19% increase in compared to the year 2016. In which, tax revenue is estimated to contribute 84%-85% of the total state budget revenue. This plan has definitely set a challenging task for the tax authority in 2017.
One of the first priorities that the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Taxation and local tax departments introduced to facilitate the state revenue collection is to perform aggressive and intensive tax and transfer pricing audits. The Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Taxation and the local tax departments have identified a list of tax audit targets and the scope of tax audits for the year 2017. The local tax departments have been carrying out tax audits at those enterprises in this list.

What are the procedures for a tax audit and what are the main issues that the tax authorities generally focus on during a tax audit? How does the post-audit appeal process work? What details should we be aware of during a tax audit in order to minimize tax risks and tax recollection/administrative penalties? etc.”
