Third year in a row on list; Firm moves up 6 spots from last year
For the third straight year, KPMG has been named in Consulting magazine’s list of “Best Firms to Work For.” For 2017, the global network of independent audit, tax and advisory firms jumped six spots to No. 7 – the highest ranking of the Big Four professional services firms - and excelled in the areas of culture and career development.
“While the world remains an uncertain place, I am immensely proud of how KPMG professionals all around the world continue to help clients succeed and grow in this hyper-competitive market,” said Mark A. Goodburn, Global Head of Advisory at KPMG International. “In addition to all the advances in in our tools and technology, ultimately what still makes the difference to clients is their experience when they work with talented and dedicated people. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring that our firm is a great place to work for our people which enables the delivery of an exceptional client experience.”
The prestigious ranking is based on Consulting’s annual survey of more than 10,000 consultants from over 300 firms. Reaching new heights on the Consulting list adds to recent accolades for KPMG this year, including attaining the #12 spot on Fortune Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For, earning the highest ranking of the Big Four professional services firms, Diversity Inc.’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity, and being named to the Vault Consulting 50.
“Being a ‘Best Firm to Work For’ validates what we and our clients have known for years – that we place significant priority on our people and strive to create a culture of innovation and inclusion,” said Carl Carande, Vice Chair of Advisory at KPMG US. “When employees are engaged and people want to come to work for KPMG, our clients recognize this and acknowledge the work as being top-tier. We provide this level of quality because we have the best people producing the best results.”
