Cayman Islands: FATCA, CRS reporting deadline is 31 May

The Department for International Tax Cooperation (DITC) of the Cayman Islands issued a release as a reminder that the statutory reporting deadline under the FATCA and the common reporting standard (CRS) regimes is 31 May 2018.

In addition, the DITC announced that the Cayman AEOI portal will be taken offline on 1 June 2018, and is intended to reopen on 15 June 2018 and then will remain open until 31 August 2018 to permit Cayman financial institutions additional time to satisfy their reporting obligations.
