Diversity and inclusion at the leadership level offer a strategic advantage for today’s most successful enterprises. Yet, in today’s marketplace there is a shortage of women holding leadership roles. What can businesses do to move more women into leadership positions?
The KPMG Women’s Leadership Study features a comprehensive survey of more than 3,000 professional working and college women, exploring the qualities and experiences that contribute to women’s leadership and advancement in the workplace. Survey findings revealed that a majority of women aspire to hold top leadership and board roles, but often find it difficult to see themselves as leaders. Confidence building and leadership training, along with the ability to network with women leaders, were identified by professional working women as key elements to expanding women’s leadership.
