What is KPMG Learning?

KPMG Learning is a one-stop shop for quality training in technical accounting and related topics geared to various learning formats: web-based self studies, podcasts, webcasts, and classroom seminars. KPMG Learning offers a catalog of KPMG training courses and materials directly accessible to the public via the KPMG Learning website.

What types of training formats are available on KPMG Learning?

KPMG Learning course offerings include KPMG’s internal award-winning training curriculum, KPMG Institutes’ webcasts and KPMG’s highly-rated Executive Education curriculum of seminars. Complementing these well-established learning formats are KPMG’s new web-based self studies that allow users to access and complete training courses online for CPE credit whenever they need it.

I have taken a course with KPMG’s Executive Education before. Is KPMG Learning the same thing?

KPMG's Executive Education trainings have provided continuing education programs to corporate executives and their staffs in the accounting, finance and business management professions for more than 20 years. KPMG’s Executive Education will continue to provide training, but as an entity within the KPMG Learning charter.

How do I access the KPMG Learning courses?

Are all KPMG Learning courses eligible for CPE credit?

The majority of courses KPMG Learning offers fully qualifies for CPE credit and meets all standards of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). KPMG is an accredited organization of NASBA, as well as a sponsor of CPE credit-qualified continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. The KPMG Learning web-based self studies are designed to deliver “Certificates of Completion” immediately upon completion of the course.

What is QAS sponsorship?

Quality Assurance Service (QAS) is a set of standards for web-based self studies, defined by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). Certain states will only accept CPE credit for a self-study if that self-study meets rigorous QAS standards, and is offered by a QAS sponsor. KPMG is an approved QAS Sponsor by NASBA, and offers QAS CPE credit for all courses that conform to QAS standards. The self studies offered by KPMG Learning do comply with the new QAS self-study CPE requirements. Note: QAS sponsorship is for self-study programs only. There is no QAS sponsorship for instructor-led training.
