Canada has a high standard of living and per capita income that makes it very-stable for investment. It also is one of the wealthiest nations in the world. Despite the uncertainty and unpredictability of North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) negotiations, there has been optimism that has emerged. Even with the falling oil prices that have made Canada’s energy industry less attractive, every other industry in Canada has had a good pick up. This shows that worries about the fate of the NAFTA doesn’t make Canada’s economy a less appealing place to invest.
