Jon Silverman, PhD, has more than 25 years of consulting experience and provides transfer pricing, tax valuation, and other economic services to KPMG LLP’s clients. In addition to his national leader role for Economic & Statistical Consulting, which is part of the firm's Economic & Valuation Services (EVS) practice, Jon is currently the Public Sector industry leader for Tax. Previously, Jon serviced as West leader for EVS. Prior to joining KPMG, Jon was a senior economist at DRI/McGraw Hill, where he provided consulting services to subscribers of DRI's macroeconomic, regional, industry, and energy models. He also spent five years at the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), where he was responsible for preparing forecasts of the U.S. economy and using the BEA macroeconomic model to analyze topical policy issues.
