Gary Matuszak is a partner with KPMG LLP in their Silicon Valley office. He is KPMG's Global Chair of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications line of business, and also has responsibility for the Global Electronics, Software & Services practice. Gary has devoted virtually his entire career to serving the needs of fast growth technology companies. Prior to joining KPMG, Gary was the Silicon Valley Office Managing Partner for Andersen. He is experienced with both structuring and executing due diligence on mergers and acquisitions for global organizations. Gary’s background includes extensive experience working with global software companies. He has been very instrumental in developing industry positions on several emerging issues that impact the software industry and served as the Chairman of the AICPA Software Revenue Recognition Task Force. Gary is also a frequent speaker on topics impacting the Technology industry. Gary is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh and a member of the AICPA and California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research and was recently appointed to serve as a Board Member of United Way Silicon Valley.
