Scot Janssen is an audit partner in KPMG’s Federal Audit Practice in the Washington, DC office. He joined the Firm in 1983, and has been a partner for 20 years. His experience includes focus on performing Chief Financial Officers Act (CFO Act) audits for Federal Agencies. Mr. Janssen has been extensively involved in CFO Act audits for several large complex Federal entities. He is a frequent speaker at Federal accounting and auditing seminars and training events sponsored by the Association of Government Accountants, AICPA and State Society of CPA’s. He also recently served on the GAO’s Advisory Committee for the recently released update of the GAO Standards of Internal Control for Federal Government.
