Brent focuses on transaction planning and tax due diligence for large, global clients, including complex cross-border transactions. Since joining our Mergers and Acquisitions practice, Brent has led KPMG's tax advisory services, including tax due diligence and transaction planning, for many of our key clients including complex and large transactions. He has advised both private equity and strategic buyers in taxable and tax free transaction structures. Brent is the leader of KPMG's Southeast M&A Projects Group which focuses on computational projects such as stock basis studies, E&P studies, section 382 analyses, and transaction costs analyses. He is a designated reviewer by Washington National Tax for complex stock basis and E&P calculations prepared by KPMG.
