Partner Shaun Budnik is KPMG LLP’s Audit Innovation Leader. Audit Innovation brings together the identification and use of technologies, analytic techniques, and processes to deliver the audit and assurance services of the future. Previously, she was a partner at another big four firm where she was a key player on the Global Audit Innovation Leadership team and supported Global Audit Strategy initiatives. Just prior to this assignment she was president of a nonprofit foundation at the firm that supports educational programming. Under her leadership, the foundation expanded its support of existing academic programs and developed new programs to address challenges facing the business, such as the Ph.D. and talent shortages. Shaun created the firm’s University Relations Center of Excellence, an area that strategically leverages the firm’s best services and resources with colleges and universities across the country. She currently serves as a board member for the American Accounting Association, Committee on Issues in Management Education and the Business Practices Council of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Shaun is an Advisory Board member for her alma mater, the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University (Chicago) and serves on the Tulane Freeman School of Business Advisory Board.
