Pete is a federal tax partner in the Accounting Methods and Credit Services (AMCS) practice based out of Philadelphia. He has more than 19 years of public accounting experience, both in operating offices and in KPMG’s Washington National Tax practice. Currently, Pete is the National Leader of KPMG’s Accounting Methods and Credit Services (AMCS) practice which comprises R&D, fixed assets and accounting methods. He is responsible for building and maintaining a national AMCS practice, including overall operations, strategy, technical project reviews, undergraduate and experienced hire recruiting, quality growth of AMCS professionals and knowledge management. Pete focuses on tax accounting methods and credit services for all industries and is responsible for running projects throughout the US, including those associated with R&D, IRC Section 199, income and expense recognition, capitalization, depreciation, repairs and inventory services (IRC Sections 471 and 263A).
