Brian Bannister joined KPMG in December 2012 in the newly created role of Global Head of Communications for KPMG, with responsibility for the network’s global profile and communications with over 150,000 partners and staff. Brian joined KPMG from PwC where he was UK Director of Communications for six years with responsibility for media relations, web, internal communications and public affairs. Previously Brian was PwC’s UK Director of Public Affairs with responsibility for relations with Government, regulators and other stakeholders and a member of PwC’s European and Global PwC Public Affairs Boards. Prior to joining PwC in 2004 Brian was Director of Communications and Marketing for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, where he played a leading role in the UK profession’s response to the concerns raised by the Enron and WorldCom scandals.
