Mr. Andes is a Principal for KPMG’s National Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Advisory service line and is responsible for strategy setting, thought leadership, executive client management and engagement delivery aspects for the practice. 

Teran has nearly 20 years of Supply Chain, Sourcing and Procurement experience working with organizations and their executive teams to conceive, develop and execute comprehensive multi-year programmes in the areas of Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Purchase-to-Pay processes, B2B Marketplaces, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Supply Chain Execution. He has led a variety of process improvement and business transformation engagements, and managed multiple local and global system implementations relating to Sourcing & eProcurement.  He complements that Procurement/Sourcing knowledge with indepth knowledge on New Product Development, Pricing, GTM development and Order Management/Logistics helping organizations understand drivers and constraints from “across the table”.

He also held senior business unit leadership roles where he has been responsible for Strategic Planning, Business Planning, GTM and Sales Execution, Product Management and P&L (EBITDA) execution.  These industry side experience help Teran guide his Executive counterparts through the challenges and operating realties of driving transformation change in organizations.

Teran has spoken on procurement excellence in various forums including Premier Breakthroughs, American Forecasting Institute and GHX Supply Chain Summit.  He has been interviewed by Gartner, AMR, Healthcare Purchasing News and Supply Chain Insights. In 2011, his team’s work was recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive for one of the top 100 programs in the US.
