KPMG in the U.S.

Jerry Albright is principal in KPMG’s Insurance Advisory practice, and has over twenty-five years of providing business advice to leading companies worldwide. He focuses on the intersection of business strategy, operational
performance, and market regulation. With extensive experience in transformational change programs, Jerry has been able to leverage a broad perspective on and depth of experience in insurance operations.  He is located in KPMG’s Chicago office, and is lead partner on a major financial services client.

Jerry co-leads KPMG’s task force that has researched the potential implications of autonomous vehicle technology on insurance. The task force conducted a survey of industry executives to gauge readiness for the potential disruptive technology, and issued a summary report in the summer of 2016. A few months later, the team issued a seminal white paper – Marketplace of Change: Automobile Insurance in the Era of Autonomous Vehicles. Since the paper was issued, the research and associated findings have been covered by over 50 leading newspapers and periodicals, including the New York Times, Newsweek, The Guardian, Bloomberg, and Car and Driver. Jerry has consulted on the topic with numerous insurance company executive teams, conducted lectures at universities, and given speeches on the topic at industry forums like the recent Detroit Auto Show.

Jerry graduated from St. John’s University (Minnesota) with a degree in accounting and economics. He has graduate degrees from both Dartmouth College (MBA) and Harvard University (MPP). He is an avid gardener, and enjoys studying architecture and design.  Each year he takes an extended adventure hike, and has explored recently explored the trails of Iceland, Patagonia, and Austria.
