KPMG in the UK today (12 July 2018) confirms that it has agreed to sell its Portfolio Solutions Group (PSG) to Alantra Corporate Portfolio AdvisoryInternational Limited, which is part of Alantra, the independent investment banking and asset management firm.

Based in London, KPMG’s UK Portfolio Solutions Group comprises over 35 professionals. The agreement will see the transfer of the majority of UK PSG staff, along with partners Andrew Jenke and Nick Colman.

KPMG’s global network of member firms continue to provide such services to clients in their respective local markets. The transaction relates to KPMG’s Portfolio solutions business based in the UK.

A spokesperson for KPMG UK said: “We periodically evaluate the services and propositions we provide to clients. As part of such a review, it was concluded that the UK Portfolio Solutions Group was no longer core to our UK Deal Advisory practice due to its size and our ability to scale the business in the UK. Member firms will continue to service their clients in their local markets and this divestment does not impact the services those firms provide locally.”
