KPMG is pleased to announce that Andy Cox has been appointed the UK Chair for Energy & Natural Resources; and Simon Virley CB has been appointed the UK Head of Energy and Natural Resources. These changes reflect the growing size and international nature of the KPMG UK Energy business.
Andy has led the UK Energy practice for the last three years and in his new role will be raising the profile of KPMG’s sector expertise, both within the UK and internationally, by leveraging his global network to increase the value delivered to KPMG Energy clients.
Simon will become the new UK Head of Energy and Natural Resources, having previously joined KPMG in 2015 and been the UK Head of Power & Utilities. In his new role, Simon will have day-to-day responsibility for running the Energy team, and helping clients meet the challenges posed by the rapid changes in technology, market conditions and regulation.
