Hopper bus ticket will strengthen public transport

David Williams, partner in KPMG’s transport practice, comments on the new ‘Hopper’ bus fare coming on London buses next week.

He said: "It is great news for passengers using Pay As You Go with Oyster or contactless payment cards on London’s buses. Buses are proven to provide many economic and social benefits. Whilst bus usage is already high in London (comparatively, compared to other UK cities) this further investment can only strengthen the use of public transport."
