The firm has brought in a range of senior management experts across the DC pensions and investment consulting teams. Amongst the new appointments is Anne Swift who joins KPMG in May this year. Anne is one of the market’s most prominent DC investment specialists, who has been appointed Head of DC Investment, joining from Aon Hewitt.

Gurmukh Hayre, Head of DC at KPMG commented: “The introduction of the new pension flexibilities last April meant we saw a surge in demand for our DC consulting expertise and the growth in our team reflects that. The changing pension’s landscape means DC will dominate ongoing workplace savings provision and we now have the capacity and expertise to continue to meet the growing demand.

“Four of the new appointments join the DC investment specialists to drive and develop our investment ideas. Innovation in DC provision is moving at a pace and it’s essential that firms keep up. Our current team which will be led by Anne, stands us in good stead to deliver market leading support for our clients.”

Andrew Coles, Head of Pensions, KPMG added:

“The DC pension landscape has experienced the most significant change in a generation over the last 12 months, and is set to continue evolving at a fast pace. KPMG’s focus on technology, innovation and broader reward makes it a really exciting team to be part of. We continue to be focussed on supporting clients with all aspects of their workplace savings and benefits at this very exciting time for the industry.”
