KPMG strengthens Public Sector team with appointment

New appointment in the public sector practice

Andrew joins KPMG today from the Local Government Association (LGA), where he has been an Associate Director of Health and Care Integration since 2013.  In this role, Andrew led on work on health and care integration for local government across England, and was responsible for the development of plans and programmes with NHS England to implement integrated care across England.

In his new role Andrew will be building KPMG’s social care, integration and devolution practice; and working closely with Joanna Killian who leads the Local Government practice at KPMG. Andrew has over 25 years of Board level experience from Local Government, Central Government, NHS and Audit Commission roles and has worked closely with local government leaders, the NHS and Government to support whole system change in health and care.

Before joining the LGA, Andrew was the Tri Borough Executive Director Adult Social Care for Westminster City Council, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, with responsibility for services for 700,000 people and combined budget of £300m. During his tenure, he established a shared hub for commissioning, procurement, finance, quality assurance, partnerships and provider development; reducing management costs by 40% while driving improved performance and value for money from front line services.
