The firm has taken space in the new Interchange Triangle building in the heart of Camden and has a resident team of advisors on hand to offer advice, practical support and act as mentors to creative new businesses in the borough.
Working closely with the Interchange management team to design a holistic support network for fast growing local businesses, KPMG’s commitment is part of an entrepreneurial programme of support for London’s start up and small business community.
“Camden has long been recognised as one of the most vibrant quarters of London and Interchange is the perfect setting for a growing breed of creative entrepreneurs to thrive in. We strongly believe in this area and our investment here signals our belief in the potential Camden has to provide a nurturing home for growing businesses. We are really excited to be working with the Interchange team to support Camden’s entrepreneurial community and to have the opportunity to work with some really innovative start-ups and to be ‘open for business’ to a new generation.”
Vanessa Butz, Managing Director of Interchange added:
"Interchange is focused on helping entrepreneurs and creative companies achieve success and take their business to the next level. A key part of this is facilitating the connections, advice and support to make this possible and therefore we're delighted to welcome KPMG to the Triangle Building as a valuable addition to our community."
The team KPMG@Interchange is being led by Jonathan Roomer following a successful period with KPMG’s High Growth Technology team based in Shoreditch. Commenting on the initiative Jonathan said:
“The combination of Camden’s rich history and the explosion of innovation in London makes Interchange an exciting place to be. We are looking forward to being active within the community, and helping companies to grow.”
