Bradley Quin, formerly of Wragge & Co (now Gowling WLG) and Hammonds (now Squire Patton Boggs), brings with him over 15 years’ experience as a qualified solicitor, both in private practice and as in-house counsel, across a comprehensive range of corporate and commercial legal projects.

Bradley is well known in the Midlands legal market and has worked with a variety of clients including large multi-nationals, private equity backed groups, funders (such as banks and equity funds) and private companies across a wide range of sectors.

KPMG’s legal services practice comprises around 75 lawyers and immigration specialists, currently based in London and Manchester. The firm was awarded an ABS licence to operate as a multi-disciplinary practice on 1 October 2014, enabling it to offer SRA regulated legal services alongside established KPMG services. Core areas of legal expertise include tax litigation, corporate and commercial, immigration and employment, supplemented with recently added capabilities in state aid and procurement law and corporate crime and anti-money laundering. KPMG is also actively recruiting across its legal services practice, including areas such as financial services regulation and company secretarial.

Nick Roome, legal services partner and head of KPMG's legal services teams in the North and Midlands, commented:

“We are delighted that Bradley is joining us to spearhead our drive into Birmingham and the Midlands. Since KPMG was awarded its ABS licence on 1 October last year, our legal services practice has gone from strength to strength, not least in the regions where we now have a very strong team operating from our Manchester office. It's clear to us that there is significant demand for the type of integrated legal services that our multi-disciplinary practice enables us to offer. There is a huge opportunity in the Midlands. Bradley’s appointment enables us to establish a dedicated hub in Birmingham to cater for clients in the region.”

Commenting on his appointment, Bradley Quin said:

“I’m enormously excited to be joining KPMG’s legal services practice.

There is a significant opportunity to extend the firm’s regional practice by establishing a hub in Birmingham to service the Midlands market. There is clear demand from clients in the region for having integrated legal services as part of KPMG's wider offering. In my career to date I’ve worked on a huge variety of projects and I look forward to getting involved in a similarly diverse range of work at KPMG.”
