KPMG, a Platinum level member of Oracle Partner Network (OPN) today announces a collaboration with Oracle to bring financial and tax business transformation expertise together with technology know-how, providing clients with cloud-based financial processing, analytics and reporting tools via the Oracle Cloud. The joint initiative will be known as ‘KPMG Powered Finance’.

Through the collaboration, KPMG aims to make a range of finance and tax transformation services available to FTSE 350 organisations. KPMG will work with Oracle to enable greater control over the way business finance functions are managed. The collaboration will begin by offering core finance processes in the Oracle Cloud.

KPMG Powered Finance has also been designed to increase the speed with which organisations can transform their finance functions. Oracle and KPMG will work together to enable clients with more agility in the way they can report. By collating data and storing it in the Oracle Cloud, the collaboration will also enable KPMG’s clients to measure their performance and benchmark it to high performing businesses within their own sector and across vertical markets.

Patrick Fenton, Head of Financial Management, at KPMG, said: “Far too often we hear stories about fast-growing firms being constrained by their finance capability or because the software they bought into during their embryonic years is no longer able to support their needs. By teaming up with Oracle we are demonstrating our commitment to technology-driven change, with the crucial recognition that cloud-based tools and programmes give organisations the freedom they need to adapt and grow.”

Mark Newton, VP, Sales UK Applications Oracle, adds: “In today’s dynamic business environment, customers need to leverage digital technologies such as cloud and business analytics to continuously add value and innovate, helping transform their businesses to stay ahead of the competition. To help modern finance organizations fast-track their digital journey, KPMG is working with Oracle to provide transformational projects with Oracle ERP and EPM Cloud.”
