KPMG is delighted to announce that the firm has been named as one of The Times Top 50 Employers for women in the paper’s annual assessment of gender equality in the workplace.
Commenting on KPMG’s placement, Donna Halkyard, deputy head of diversity and inclusion at KPMG, says: “KPMG’s position in the 2014 list is testament to the progress that we are making and a signal of our long-term strategy. It shows that we are determined to harness the best of our talent and deliver a working environment in which all employees are valued and engaged.
“Since Simon Collins took over as senior partner and chairman, the proportion of women on the Executive Board has increased to 25 percent. Today’s recognition, though, is only one step on a long journey. To continue to make progress it is vital that we are authentic in our search for greater diversity. The better we understand the key issues that slow the pace of change in diversity, the better chance we have of turning the dial.”
