KPMG today announced that John Kjorstad, current Editor of Infrastructure Journal (IJ) will join its Global Infrastructure practice as an Associate Director in January 2014. John will become KPMG’s Global Services’ (KGS) Infrastructure Hub Leader. In his new role, he will lead a team of 11 people delivering infrastructure research and business support to KPMG practices around the world.

John Kjorstad Biog:

John has been Editor of IJ since February 2011. He joined IJ in 2006 as Features Editor, a role he held until becoming Editor. Between November 2009 and January 2011, John also added Head of Research and Analysis to his remit. Earlier in his career John spent two years as an English teacher in Japan and a further two years as a teacher in Switzerland. He was also a volunteer producer at Northern Lights Public radio and Intern reporter on Grand Forks Herald while he completed his degree at the University of North Dakota. John began his career as a sports reporter at Fargo Forum, where he covered regional sporting events in NE North Dakota and NW Minnesota.

In 2010, John produced an Infrastructure 100 report with KPMG to showcase and celebrate one hundred examples of great infrastructure projects around the world.
