KPMG AG has agreed to acquire consulting firm BrainNet Supply Management Group, which specialises in procurement consulting and supply chain management (SCM). The acquisition enhances KPMG member firms’ existing capability in designing and optimising global supply chains and broadens the service offering to support clients across their whole value chain.
Based in Bonn, Germany and St. Gallen, Switzerland, BrainNet is one of the leading, international consulting firms in supply chain management. BrainNet serves clients with tailor-made solutions in the areas of research & development, operations, logistics, purchasing and strategic qualification. Recognised as a thought leader, BrainNet has been setting trends in supply chain management consultancy for more than 15 years. BrainNet’s innovative approach and globally scalable delivery tools and methodologies will add to the breadth and depth of capabilities in this important area across the KPMG member firm network.
