The draft clauses that will form Finance Bill 2017 will be released for consultation on 5 December 2016.
With Autumn Statement 2016 having been a relatively understated affair, the Chancellor has one more present in store for us before Christmas – the draft clauses of Finance Bill 2017, which will be released for consultation on 5 December 2016. This may include legislation on a number of high profile tax initiatives previously announced or consulted on by the Government, such as changes to the deductibility of corporate interest expense, reform of the rules on corporation tax losses, amendments to the salary sacrifice rules, and reform to the taxation of non-domiciled individuals.
Once the draft legislation has been released, we will be updating our dedicated page with analysis of the key measures, so please do check back for updates.
