The dates of the consultations announced last week have been revised.
As announced in last week’s Tax Matters Digest, the OECD will be holding three new base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) related consultations over the summer. The consultations cover considering the design and operation of the Group Ratio Rule, approaches to BEPS involving interest in the banking and insurance sectors, and hybrid mismatch arrangements for branches. However, following our article last week, the dates of the consultations have now changed.
The revised dates are as follows (please note that you may need to refresh the page to see the changed dates on the OECD’s page):
|Elements of the design and operation of the group ratio rule||6 July 2016||3 August 2016|
|Branch Mismatch Arrangements||15 July 2016||26 August 2016|
|Approaches to address BEPS involving interest in the banking and insurance sectors||18 July 2016||29 August 2016|
