Are mid-tier companies at risk of being left behind in the digital race? The UK’s digital economy is gathering pace, creating huge opportunities for mid-tier companies. However, research conducted with 1,200 mid-tier businesses, suggests they are missing out on opportunities to compete.

Our 2015 report: Digital to the Core, explores companies’ digital ambitions and analyses their investment priorities. The report also examines the barriers restricting them from realising their digital potential and looks at how they can compete on a business landscape transformed by technology disruption.

Key highlights include:

  • Almost 70% surveyed plan to increase investment in digital between 2015 and 2017.
  • Nearly three-quarters surveyed are waiting for digital technology to be proven before adopting it.
