KPMG and McLaren Technology Group have formed a strategic alliance to apply McLaren Applied Technologies’ (MAT) predictive analytics and technology to KPMG’s audit and advisory services.

As the ‘Pioneer’ Innovation Partner of the McLaren Technology Group, KPMG will be working with McLaren to jointly invest and develop a unique range of audit and advisory services. It’s a ground-breaking move that will allow our clients to draw upon a combination of our consulting experience and business insight, paired with McLaren’s high performance culture and technical know-how.

McLaren’s sophisticated predictive analytics and technologies can be applied to many business issues. We believe that there is huge potential to transform audit, to improve audit quality and provide more insight to management teams, audit committees and investors. In addition, McLaren’s predictive analytics and know-how will help our clients achieve a step change in their performance, particular in complex operational areas such as international supply chain.

We will initially be working with McLaren to help a select number of clients, and then apply these learning more broadly across our wider client base. As we move forward, McLaren technologies will become fully leveraged across our existing and new services.

The strategic alliance builds on our strategy of investing in data and analytics and technological expertise, by developing our own digital platforms and forming innovative new strategic alliances, such as our recent collaboration with the Imperial College of London and the launch of KPMG Centre for Advanced Analytics.
