A focus for boards is how they can maximise the return on human capital to drive better business performance. We believe HR functions have never had a better opportunity to play a central role in steering businesses towards success and demonstrate how to deliver measurable value.
We are pleased to launch KPMG’s programme for senior HR Directors which will focus on this theme and consist of a series of events. It offers an opportunity to engage with peers, share experiences and network in a relaxed setting. We also offer a regular e-magazine, providing invaluable insights.
Our first event was a breakfast seminar hosted in central London on Wednesday 2 July 2014. We were joined by David Nish, CEO, and Sandy Begbie, Chief Operations Officer, at Standard Life. David and Sandy shared their fascinating account of their working relationship and how this has put the people agenda at the heart of the business.
Our second breakfast seminar will take place in October, so look out for your invitation. In the meantime, you can join our closed group on LinkedIn. This group has been created for members of the HR Director Programme to network informally, discuss the most pressing topics and debate future trends with input from KPMG experts and content along the way.
