Peter joined KPMG in 2010 to consult on risk management primarily in the Insurance Sector.
He has over 15 years consulting experience and is a specialist in Operational Risk Management and ERM Framework design, advising clients on how to improve their effectiveness in these areas. He is an experienced manager of advisory, assurance and internal audit engagements. During this time he has worked for life and general insurers, banks, building societies and dealer/broker firms in addition to clients outside the Financial Services sector.
Peter is a member of the Institute of Operational Risk and has presented to clients on a range of topics including: the Operational Risk – Insurance Risk Boundary, Solvency II Systems of Governance and ORSA, Risk Framework development, Risk Appetite, Risk Management Information and Change Management oversight. He is also a contributor to KPMG’s operational risk management maturity benchmarking tool.
