James helps both Corporate and Trustee clients manage their Defined Benefit pension scheme risk.
His primary area of expertise is advising clients on immediate de-risking activities, which he has been doing for over 10 years at both KPMG and a leading global actuarial firm.
This covers covering both synthetic, captive and traditional buy-in / buy-out transactions. James has been responsible for advising and implementing around 50 of these transactions, ranging from £5m to around £2bn, with clients including RSA, Friends Provident, Next, Coca Cola, Ofcom, Wiggins Teape and Hitachi.
