Director, KPMG Economics
KPMG in the UK
Throughout more than thirty years of economic consulting experience, Paul has undertaken a very significant amount of work analysing the economic impact of government policies on private sector markets. These policies have included many examples of taxes, price controls and other regulatory interventions.
This experience has been across a wide range of sectors, including retail, consumer goods, food and drink, gambling, hospitality and leisure, financial services, real estate, telecoms and media.
Paul has undertaken some projects for regulators; but he has mostly worked for private sector clients who have required economic analysis in the context of their engagement with government and regulators.
His extensive experience of applied economic analysis also extends to many competition cases and several litigations.
