Aidan Joined KPMG as an Audit trainee in 1986 after graduating with a BA in Philosophy from the University of Kent.

He was appointed Partner in 1998 where he worked in Transaction Services, leading a number of high profile transactions, including Unilever’s €1.4 billion frozen food disposal, the hostile bid defence of Marston, Thompson and Evershed and the £2.8 billion disposal of Allied Domecq’s pub business.

In 2009 Aidan was appointed Global Head of Management Consulting and was the driving force behind its transformation, which resulted in growth from $1.3 billion to $3.5 billion, a more globally aligned practice with world class capabilities and a business which is now rated by industry analysts as a leading global player.

He is well known for bringing a powerful combination of strategic insight, operational understanding and human connection and has a track record of bringing together the best of KPMG’s capabilities across the firm to create strong teams that deliver real value to clients.

Aidan was invited to join the UK Executive Committee in October 2016 and was appointed Head of Digital Transformation in October 2017.
