Ken is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner and has 20 years of experience in forensic accounting, working with clients and their legal advisers to prevent, detect and respond to commercial crime risks.

He has led numerous high profile investigations into suspicions of fraud, bribery and corruption, accounting misstatement and other misconduct. He has also provided specialist assistance to the Crown and Police on major investigations

In addition, Ken is a well-regarded expert witness on accounting, quantum and valuation matters. He is regularly instructed in relation to completion accounts disputes, warranty claims, loss of profits claims, shareholder disputes and contractual disagreements. He has given evidence in the Court of Session, High Court and Sheriff Courts.

Ken is also regularly appointed as an independent expert under ICAS’s President’s Appointments Scheme.
Ken’s industry experience includes banking, hotels and leisure, oil and gas, central and local government, transport, software, energy and utilities, property and facilities management and healthcare.
