KPMG in the UK

James is a Partner in KPMG’s Insurance practice with almost 20 years of experience. He is an actuary by background. He leads KPMG’s regulatory capital capability and has advised numerous clients on capital modelling and optimisation projects. This includes the insurance sector analysis of the report commissioned by the ABI in response to the HMT: Call for evidence.

James has managed and led delivery in large cross-functional teams in insurance risk and actuarial engagements.

He has significant IFRS17, asset liability management, financial reporting, capital management, solvency II, risk and strategic experience. He has presented to and influenced executive, board-level and regulatory stakeholders.

James has worked with a wide-range of clients across the insurance and asset management industry.
