Marc van Grondelle is a partner with KPMG in the UK and Head of the firm’s Global Joint Venture Advisory practice. He has deep expertise in the creation, turnaround/restructuring, governance and practical implementation of joint ventures and strategic alliances from his more than 20 years in industry.
Marc has developed a range of services to make a success of multinational joint ventures using global best practices regarding venture creation, operation, governance, business risk management and management assurance.
Marc specializes in the turnaround and restructuring of underperforming joint ventures, and driving enhanced financial or operational performance from (portfolio’s of) existing joint ventures. He has a strong background in joint venture diplomacy and has experience working in regulated environments and with host governments.
Marc advises clients on current and future international joint ventures across a number of industries, including oil and gas, banking, manufacturing, telecommunications, chemicals, mining and retail.
Marc has lived and worked globally, delivering joint ventures, including Africa, India and Australia as well as the Former Soviet Union and the Gulf.
