KPMG in the UK
Philip has been the UK Managing Partner since November 2015, responsible for running the day to day operations of the UK firm, a member of the UK Board and chair the Executive Committee.
He has held a number of senior leadership positions in the UK firm and globally, with his last role being Chief Operating Office of KPMG International before taking the Managing Partner role.
Philip’s personal specialism is in advising underperforming companies and their stakeholders on operational and financial restructurings and his business experience includes helping very large groups of lenders solve difficult issues with underperforming loans, helping stressed companies stay in control of their situation and helping multi-national companies optimise the value of their businesses.
Philip has worked extensively on overseas projects in a number of places including the US, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Greece, Albania, Brazil, Venezuela, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Australia and also led a series of other high profile restructurings and established strong Transactions and Restructuring capabilities in a number of locations across the Middle East region.
