Kara has expertise in ongoing regulatory developments across the banking industry - including retail, commercial and wholesale banks - and related market infrastructure, such as supervisory bodies, exchanges, central counterparties, and custodians. She engages with key stakeholders across the industry, including supervisors, trade bodies, clients and commentators to develop KPMG’s perspective on the implications and potential actions for our clients. This includes reviewing high level requirements of proposed regulation, identifying linkages across disparate regulatory initiatives, identifying sector specific issues, and detailing out implications for strategy, governance, people process and systems. Kara is a Principal Advisor in our Risk and Compliance practice assisting clients with identifying, tracking and initial impact assessment of regulatory developments.
