On April 17 2014, Oleg Chayka participated in a C-level event arranged by the Government of Ukraine. Participants discussed top priority actions to be taken by the Government and national producers in order to access the EU markets, in the context of the decision of the European Commission to unilaterally implement the autonomous preferential regime for the goods originating from Ukraine.

This meeting was initiated and led by Mr. Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Prime Minister of Ukraine, with the participation of Mr. Pavlo Sheremeta, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Mr. Vitaliy Naumenko, Deputy Minister of Revenue and Duties of Ukraine, Mr. Ihor Shvaika, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Trade of Ukraine, Mr. Valery Pyatnitsky, State Commissioner on European Integration, Mr. Vitaliy Bashynsky, Deputy Head of the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine, Mr. Jan Tombinski, Head of EU Delegation to Ukraine, as well as heads of industrial associations, MPs, representatives of the Ministries, CEOs and experts of leading Ukrainian producers.

Oleg Chayka presented a report “Future State 2030” to the team of the Ministry of the Economic Development for further discussion.
