Job Summary

KPMG’s Audit department is seeking a qualified accountant to work as a Manager. The incumbent will handle a portfolio of clients and be responsible for the completion of our larger and more complex audit assignments, including staff supervision, while liaising closely with other Audit Managers and Partners.

This position requires a mature, professional, self-motivated individual who is well organized, hardworking, enthusiastic, focused on business development and has a desire for upward mobility. Candidates must demonstrate these attributes and that they are capable of working with minimum supervision and be able to cope with demanding situations that require the ability to multi task on a daily basis. This is a highly demanding environment with very tight reporting deadlines; therefore the willingness and capacity to work overtime at short notice is essential. 


Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Researching technical issues, analysing information, producing concise deliverables and communicating this information to the client’s executive management and Board of Directors
  • Proven project management and interpersonal skills, which demonstrate the ability to train and supervise the work of other professionals with various experience levels and technical abilities
  • Sound time management skills and proven ability to successfully administer multiple projects through to completion 
  • Ability to work effectively to meet established internal and external deadlines
  • Proven networking and business development skills
  • Excellent presentation skills to produce and review complex financial reports and proposals  
  • Exceptional people skills with the ability to work with clients and staff of all levels 


What we’re looking for:

  • An internationally recognized accounting qualification (such as CA, CPA, or ACCA) with six (6) or more years financial statement audit experience
  • A keen interest in providing high quality service and in being an effective and proactive member of a team focused on investments and banking industries
  • Strong, current knowledge of IFRSs and ISAs is expected
  • A high degree of competence in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Team player
