Gillian is a Director in KPMG’s Tax practice in Trinidad and Tobago and has over 25 years’ experience in the Tax industry. She holds a Bachelor and a Post Graduate Advanced Diploma in Law from the University of the West Indies and has a Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School. She is responsible for providing advice to local and international clients on various transactions including efficient structuring of cross-border transactions, tax planning and regulatory procedures, and negotiating amicable settlements in respect of assessments raised by the tax authorities. Gillian has also effectively presented on numerous tax training seminars for both internal and external audiences. She has experience working with the banking, construction, energy, financial services, insurance, manufacturing and retail sectors.
