Thailand and Cambodia signed an agreement for the avoidance of double taxation (“DTA”) on 7 September 2017. It was announced on 11 January 2018 by the Revenue Department that the DTA has now become effective as of 1 January 2018. The keys features of the DTA can be found in our “Tax & Legal News Flash: Cambodia-Thailand DTA – Key features” Issue 26 published in November 2017.
