Stanislav Šumský has become an eleventh member of the Board of Partners at KPMG in Slovakia. This change is effective as of October 1, 2014. He will be in charge of the whole Transactions and Restructuring (T&R) department replacing Kenneth Ryan who has become a managing partner of KPMG in Slovakia. His main responsibility will be the development of deal advisory, valuations and restructuring services. Stanislav will also continue acting as a lead financial advisor on key transactions in Slovakia and the CEE region and will work with his clients in order to identify and execute their investment opportunities.
Stanislav has more than 13 years’ experience in the M&A and Corporate Finance fields and joined the KPMG team in 2003.
During his career he has been involved in dozens of transactions and among his clients belong large multinational corporates, banks, private equity investors as well as Slovak private investors and individual owners of companies. He represents his clients in acquisition and divestment projects, exit planning, financial restructurings and other projects aimed at managing and maximizing value for companies. His clients include Erste Bank/Slovenská sporiteľňa, Intesa Sanpaolo/VÚB Banka, Dexia, GDF SUEZ, E.ON, Deutsche Post, Nissan and many other.
