Strategic Procurement Foundations

City House, 36 Robinson Rd, Singapore 068877

25 January 2019, 9:00AM - 5:00PM, SGT

The complexity of the market place has changed the landscape of the supply markets considerably – globalisation, advancement in technology and a challenging business environment all mean that businesses
cannot afford to take a less strategic view over their procurement spend. Understanding your organisation’s supply market is now paramount in its procurement strategy.

Additionally, organisations face a lack of visibility of their spend across their business units, and where savings could be made.  Moreover, procurement is often driven by staff with limited procurement knowledge.

By the end of this course, participants will understand the procurement strategy and key areas within the procurement life-cycle. The course will also touch on category strategy and supply market analysis which are fundamental to any procurement strategy.
