Jonathan has over 20 years of audit and consulting experience across many industries, such as manufacturing, insurance and financial services. He is currently the service line leader for Internal Audit and Control Self-Assessment; and leads the Government Sector and Enterprise Market in risk consulting. In his role, Jonathan has undertaken numerous corporate governance reviews for both public and private organizations, including SMEs.
He also had a 2 year stint with KPMG in the UK, where he advised clients on corporate governance, risk management and internal audit engagements. This includes integrating risk management directly into their business processes to grow their business and working with companies leading up to and throughout the IPO process.
In his role as Head of Enterprise, Jonathan focuses on advising innovative start-ups, large local businesses and family businesses. He also serves as an Enterprise 50 (E50) Awards Committee member to identify, support and reward enterprising privately-owned local companies across all sectors.
Jonathan has contributed articles in academic journals and leading business publications. He is a speaker at seminars and facilitated roundtable forums; and has provided comments and articles on corporate governance practices and enterprise related issues to the media.
He currently sits on the Board of Governors of the Institute of Internal Auditors Singapore and is part of the Singapore Quality Award (SQA)’s management committee. Awarded by SPRING Singapore, SQA is the highest accolade recognizing organizations that have achieved the pinnacle of business excellence.
