Inna Alkhimova, Tax Partner, KPMG in Kazakhstan
Inna has a degree in Applied Mathematics from Moscow State University, a Postgraduate Diploma from Kazakh State University, and an MBA from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research.
Inna has been with KPMG for more than 13 years, during which time she has provided tax advisory and tax compliance services to both international and domestic clients. For the past four years she has headed the Financial Services group within the Tax practice at KPMG in Kazakhstan. She has extensive tax-related experience in Kazakhstan, including in oil & gas, financial services, private equity, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and consumer markets. Her areas of specialisation are corporate taxation, cross-border taxation and international transaction structuring, group reorganisations, and transfer pricing.
Inna holds the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) qualification.
Andrei Mitrofanov, Restructuring Services Partner, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Andrei graduated in Economies & Engineering from the Moscow State Aviation Institute. He joined the KPMG Audit practice in 2000, later transferred to Transaction Services, and in 2008 he joined Restructuring Services.
In his current specialisation Andrei has worked with both banks and debtors. This work has included managing major CIS projects on debt restructuring, independent business analysis, financial modelling, short- and long-term forecasting analysis, and comprehensive financial monitoring. He has worked with every major Russian bank and a number of major European banks, as well as with numerous industrial enterprises in the CIS.
Marina Mizgireva, Transaction Services Partner, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Marina graduated with an MA (Hons) from the Gubkin Moscow State Academy of Oil & Gas.
Marina joined the KPMG Audit practice in 2000 and transferred to Transaction Services three years later. She leads domestic and cross-border transaction and valuation engagements and has worked with companies representing various sectors of economy, with a key focus on oil & gas.
Marina has held Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) accreditation since 2003.
Evgeny Shevarenkov, Audit Partner, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Evgeny graduated from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University and has an MBA in Finance from California State University, East Bay.
Evgeny’s first stint with KPMG in Moscow was from 2001 to 2006, and he rejoined the firm in 2007. He provides audit services to leading banks, investment, leasing and insurance companies and has extensive experience in and wide-ranging knowledge of auditing financial statements prepared under RAP and IFRS. He also has considerable experience in due diligence.
Evgeny holds ACCA accreditation, has a Russian Statutory Audit License, and is a member of the Non-Profit Partnership "Audit Chamber of Russia" (NP ACR), a self-regulatory organisation for auditors.
Julia Stefanishina, Forensic Partner, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Julia graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, majoring in International Economic Relations; she is also a graduate of the Institute of Professional Evaluation at the Russian Government Financial University.
Julia has specialised in working with real estate, construction and infrastructure companies for over 11 years. Her work includes comprehensive technical real estate appraisals, managing construction projects, business planning, real estate efficiency analysis, profitability analysis, SWOT analysis, and the restructuring of real estate portfolios. She has worked with a number of international and local investment banks and corporations, the largest Russian state-owned companies, and federal and regional authorities.
Julia is a Licensed Assessor (BREEAM Int.), a DGNB Consultant, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), and a member of the Russian Evaluation Association.
Sergei Strelchenko, Management Consulting Partner, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Sergey graduated from the Russian Government Finance University. He has over nine years’ experience in consulting, with a particular focus on the energy and oil & gas sectors. Sergey joined KPMG in 2010 as Head of Management Consulting in Oil & Gas. He has worked on projects involving the optimisation of investment planning systems, budgeting, accounting management and financial modelling, and has also taken part in engagements related to strategy consulting, restructuring, and designing KPI systems.
Sergey is ACCA accredited; he is also a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute) and has FCSM 1.0 and 3.0 qualification certificates.
Julia Temkina, Transaction Services Partner, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Julia holds MA degrees in Economics from both the Higher School of Economics in Russia and Sorbonne University in Paris.
Julia joined KPMG Transaction Services in 2005, having already built up extensive experience in IFRS reporting and business analysis in the financial and banking sectors. In 2007–2008 she was based in London, managing acquisition due diligence projects in the banking, wealth management and brokerage industries. She specialises in financial due diligence in Russian and international markets, as well as domestic and cross-border transactions in the financial services sector.
