The Business Advisory Board on Disability and KPMG engage business in the discussion of employment of people with disability.
On 21 February 2013 The Business Advisory Board on Disability (BABD) will hold its 4th Annual Business for Equal Opportunities Forum at KPMG’s office in Moscow (Naberezhnaya Tower Business Center, Block B, 10 Presnenskaya Naberezhnaya, Moscow). The event starts at 2 p.m.
Given the current shortage of qualified personnel in the labour market many companies want to employ disabled people. This however causes many questions and concerns on creating the environment where disabled people can work effectively and ensuring they fit into the team at work. The Business for Equal Opportunities Forum aims to encourage modern and positive views on the employability of disabled people and persuade more companies to take part in placement programs for them.
Participants in the forum will discuss possible ways to make business more accessible for disabled people and ensure efficient use of their excellent potential. At the event representatives of BABD member companies and the Perspektiva Regional Society of Disabled People as well as disabled employees of BABD member companies will speak about their experiences of integrating disabled people into the professional environment, overcoming mental barriers in employers and employees with regard their employment, and creating favourable conditions for disabled employees to adapt and for the business to benefit from such cooperation.
Anyone representing a Russian or international company who is interested is invited to the forum. To attend please register by sending an e-mail stating your name, job title, company name and contact details to email@example.com.
