"Business in Russia: Complying with UK Anti-Corruption Legislation" is an important event for companies operating in Russia that are interested in or impacted by UK compliance law requirements. We believe this is a timely business presentation, as compliance, anti-corruption, and bribery measures are frequently under debate these days. Russian and UK law in this area differs considerably, and the presentation will be covering topical touchpoints and differences.
The presentation, delivered by the KPMG Risk Consulting team, will address a range of subjects such as the UK bribery act and its relevance in Russia, what a compliance system is, and, uniquely, compliance matters related to M&A. The presentation will also look at due diligence, compliance audits, and what all this means – not only to long-term players, but also to new market entrants. KPMG will also be demonstrating its automated counterparty screening system.
The main aim of the event, which is planned to be in a plenum discussion and presentation format, is to share experience and opinions, including advice on conducting compliance systems, and to discuss the methods and techniques currently being used.
The event is planned to be in a plenum discussion and presentation format.
